Eden Evermore’s mission is to encourage skeptics and seekers to step through the door of faith, to equip believers with biblical truth, and to empower them to become Jesus’ disciples in the Book of Acts—a Holy Spirit-led generation that isn’t afraid to live out God’s Word, to apply Scriptural teachings to discern God’s will in unfolding global events, and, ultimately, to embrace its role and destiny in the great tapestry of God’s Plan for humanity and for eternity.
Goals
We recognize and strive to work under the authority, leadership, and guidance of the triune God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob―the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as implied throughout the Old Testament and crystallized through Jesus’ life, ministry, and teachings in the New Testament.
In the beginning, God referred to himself as “we,” and “us” Genesis 1:26, indicating a complex entity that promised to be misunderstood by men in the later thousands of years.
As the story of God and Israel moved forward through the pages of the historicals and prophecies in the Old Testament, God continued to reveal himself.
But the understanding of God’s trinitarian nature remained elusive until the Messiah, Jesus Christ, revealed to us about his oneness with the Father throughout his life, ministry, and teachings in the New Testament.
Crystallized for the first time in Jesus’ baptism Matthew 3:16–17, the intricate unified identity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit was then repeatedly explored and explained, specifically in the gospel of John John 10:30, John 10:9–14, John 17:5, John 17:11, John 17:21, John 10:27–30, with the Holy Spirit’s role and function more amplified in Acts and Paul’s epistles.
Although the concept of the trinitarian God remains a highly contested and challenged notion in the world today, here at Eden Evermore ministries, it is not only strongly believed in, it forms the cornerstone of our foundation, and upon which we’ll continue to stand, build, and worship.
We don’t chase current events; we analyze the undercurrents, trace the dots of God’s grand design, and discern God’s revelation and instructions through prayers.
Be it political developments, social movements, technological advances, or cultural trends, the ministries analyze them through the lens of Scripture.
Rather than consuming news passively or relying solely on secular commentary, our ministries seek to understand contemporary phenomena by applying biblical principles, wisdom, and theological frameworks.
It means asking questions such as, “What does Scripture say about justice in relation to this issue?” and “How do biblical themes of stewardship, compassion, or truth speak to this situation?”
This practice cultivates discernment, helping to form opinions and responses rooted in faith rather than merely popular sentiments. It also advances our aim of bridging the gap between ancient text and modern life, demonstrating Scripture’s ongoing instructional, prophetic power and authority in the daily lives of nonbelievers and faithfuls alike.
Ultimately, this goal fosters a worldview where faith and God’s timeless wisdom found in the Holy Bible actively inform our understanding of the world rather than existing separately from everyday reality.
As born–again Christians walk out their callings and destiny, they’re taught that things don’t happen randomly, and that the purposes of events can only be meaningfully discerned through God’s living and active Word.
What appears like a chain of random, unrelated events in the natural realm will always have its specific purpose in the spiritual realm that Jesus’ disciples shall learn to recognize and pay attention to as soon as they arise.
Although today’s world is rich with brilliant biblical scholars, it often lacks, or tries its best to ignore, what might be called a spiritual filter—a lens that enables the disciple to discern the unseen forces behind the visible and invisible events of a spiritually chaotic age.
Many believers are drawn into extremes: apoliticism in the name of “absolute spiritual purity” (“Christians shouldn’t engage in politics”), casual legalism (“follow this formula to secure God’s blessing”), and even deconstructionism disguised as “honest spiritual engagement” (“questioning faith helps clarify belief”). Others drift further into compromise, allowing blasphemy and reprobation to invade the church in service of secular ideological battles.
However, God has not left His people defenseless in this chaos. He has placed a weapon in their hands: “the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” Ephesians 6:17. This sword is not merely a concept but a living word, energized by the Spirit to cut through lies, expose hidden motives, and strengthen weary hearts.
Used as a filter and a weapon, Scripture shields the mind from captivity to the world’s systems and enables disciples to stand their ground in the heat of battle.
Paul describes the sword of the Spirit Ephesians 6:17 as a vital element of the armor believers must take up in spiritual warfare, indicating that God’s Word is not merely informative but actively empowered for conflict in the realm of ideas.
When disciples allow Scripture to shape their perception, their minds are guarded from what might be called the “world’s mental matrix”—the complex of narratives, values, and assumptions that oppose the knowledge of God.
However much the world wishes only to tolerate, for a time, a diluted form of Christianity, Jesus’ disciples must understand that their role isn’t to accept or accommodate the world’s temporal and pretentious kindness, but persevere, persuade, and push back against its rebellion with God’s Word.
The proper response, therefore, is a renewed descent into Scripture that leads to a Holy Spirit-empowered ascent into faithful engagement. Immersing oneself in the Word trains the believer in the dynamics of spiritual warfare and clarifies that the church does not fight for victory but from the victory already secured in Christ’s death and resurrection 1 Corinthians 15:57, Romans 8:37.
As disciples step out of the world’s patterns of spiritual chaos and submit their understanding of history and contemporary events to the authority of God’s Word, they participate in Jesus Christ’s ongoing triumph over the powers and principalities Colossians 2:15 and bear witness to God’s victory enacted in and through their obedient lives.
More than engagement with current events, the ministries aim to exalt the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in all that we do to encourage and equip the believers to become lifelong disciples of the greatest teacher who ever lived.
Although some may argue that scripture doesn’t tell all, it remains the Word of God that is living and active, and it serves as more than just a life manual for the believer to walk out their salvation and grow into a disciple―it reveals and reminds the disciple of the source of their very breath of life.
While the Old Testament documents the historicals, prophecies, and writings of Israel’s ancient biblical figures, who lived under God’s mindful eyes, the New Testament documents the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Messiah―his life, ministry, teachings, and power and authority.
Through Jesus Christ, God’s greatest promise to mankind was fulfilled.
Today, many, and many more still, look at Scripture with suspicion, disdain and or indifference, while also asking the questions that no other document can answer more succinctly, “Who am I?”, “What am I doing here on earth?”, “What is the purpose of my life?”, “Where will I go after I die?” and “Is this all there is to life―death, and that’s the end?”
